Various things so far from the week (19-21)

Well this was the first week of classes. Monday I had History and Philosophy of Science and Intro. to Philosophy. Tuesday I had my Bible course and International studies. Wednesdays I have no classes. Which works out great to get homework and grocery shopping done. Besides classes, I have been walking all around Oxford venturing around. Tuesday we all watched the inauguration of President Obama (which was 4:00 to 6:00pm for us).

Here are some of the pictures I have collected from my excursions around the west side of Oxford. The first picture I found funny, the houses are different colors like a rainbow. The next few are some of Oxford Castle. Next are some from Christ's Church (I just barely walked around some of it, I will probably tour more of it later someday if possible). And then lastly is a meal that I made for tonight! Haha I thought I would show Mommy that I can prepare a meal all by myself.

I meant to take pictures of the market I went to today, but I totally forgot. This specific market I went to opens at 11:00am on Wed. and Thursdays. The stuff there is very cheap, for instance I got about ten bananas and six apples for two pounds. They have other random items, and I bought some gloves for only a quid fifty (1.50).

  1. A few of your pictures remind me of Nova Scotia. We went into a fort area and it looks pretty similar to the 4th picture down. And good job on fixing your own dinner!

  2. I am glad to know you are not going to starve while you are there. I am impressed you do know how to cook!
