Volunteering

The Internet has been down lately, so I was unable to get on for the past two days. But I went on a walk down the Thames on Sunday. On this walk I saw various things that supposedly Lewis Carroll was inspired by. In one of the playgrounds were giant plastic chess pieces, and supposedly we were supposed to see rabbits and mushrooms. It was muddy for the most part, but overall it was an exciting walk.

Well as required in my INTS 240 class, I have to volunteer for a total of 20 hours. Today, my friend Staci and I volunteered for a chef named Jules. At first we just washed dishes, but then later chopped up various vegetables and helped Jules with random tasks in the kitchen. It was extremely fun, the guy is ridiculously funny. We were also given tea and British desserts every hour or so.
